Rinse day and I take hold of plunger but stop…lift lid…

There on a pant cuff,  a young Sierran tree frog and same as snake,  we simply behold each other.

Reaching in,  scooping up,  they go up my hand to top of index finger, more belolding

This most gentle soul  set down in the flow of hose water then  going off on their way.

The snake.  This young frog here at the top of Hill, both unexpected,  “out of place” ?  Within 2 days….

Was on my way to clothesline.  Just right out there,  when body alerted…Stop!…

I need more words to tell how beautiful  it is, this sensory knowing,  but behold!

We both were completely still, watching each other,  Goats came and went as did Puppie,  inches away.  Minnow the only one interested in going toward.  Not sure what to think.  Most likely will not ever see again. ?  . 

About 4 ft.  7 or 8 rattles.  Old one.
