the connection. you have the eye for this, and now your eye is the cloth.

I’m seeing the tree now, I think the way you want it to look. Like a ghost of a tree.

It’s soooo good to go beyond where we think…
Just popping by to see what you’ve been up to, Grace, and my goodness, this cloth has sure gone to a wonderful beyond!

That eye is riveting…demands attention. Just so good!
And does anyone else see the skull sitting on one big bone on the rug – upper right?

Hi Grace,
I really can’t wait to see the whole cloth!
I am still working on those tiny pieces…afraid of tackling the “big one”.
Have a great stitching weekend…and maybe a lot of fun beside embroidery!

It seems to me as if the eye is looking inside the cloth … cannot express it better.

No, not at all. It is such a knowing look, I think I´ve seen in on a greek statue of a goddess.
I´m working on my eye-thing, it is getting better 🙂

Grace, this eye … I couldn´t stop thinking … now I had an idea where I have seen this expression:

it is a gothic statue in a german church from the middle age
Don´t know if you see it too, but that was in my head.
By the way I always liked this face.

Doris, how cool that you could be reminded in this way. I like this face you’ve shared.

Grace, the eye changes the cloth tremendously! It is the most prominent feature – demanding the beholders focus at once! Great idea!!!!
As always: enjoy the weekend and keep on stitching…
