well….hmmmm. when i leave the image as full size and don't reduce to Large, it works as it used to. meaning it can be enlarged twice. which is good. BUT that's a change i didn't cause. i kind of don't like the initial image so large in the first place. but…oh, well and wha….stuff is what it is.
have not received word from Help Ticket yet. maybe they have a different solution.

grace, I had noticed the problem as well but figured it was a glitch that would get sorted. Lately on other typepad blogs, I’ve noticed that I can only enlarge once…?

the size of your image is smaller. you can only enlarge if the image size allows. if you did not reduce the size of the image, then typepad did. sometimes if you use their editor to crop etc, it resizes it when it saves it. your old images are a larger format.
