to me,  always the Moment of the "year",  the circle of seasons.   the point upon which so much pivots.

this time,  in this Place,  where everything so ancient is new to me,  i understand,  as in Felt/Sense,  that it is the time of Beginning here.   There is an expectant feeling to the Forest.  Forest waits for the Rains.  I want to tune Self to this.  I live here now.  Want to become Of It.

the  Permaculture guy,  the helper,  Marcus,  told me that many of the Plant People,  bushes, shrubs,  become dormant in the heat of high summer.  That once the temperatures return to 80's they wake.  Today i'll trim the  California Lilac that has managed to hold on,  through.   shore up a small run off with a few more rocks.  Give the first water of this awakening time.  Then begin to leave it alone,  as it likes to be.

Jasmine would be wonderful. So would be free moon goats. Some of my favorite things are here each day. Thank you for sharing. Love.

Plenty of rain here in the mid-west. Hot and humid. The last rain brought a huge emergence of mushrooms in the woods. That fungus smell hangs heavy.
