Perhaps ever more beautiful this way for in the crinkly blossoms, you can see how the flower stood proudly in the sun, in the wind, in the rain, surviving. I think of our faces, those of us in our elder years, each crinkle, wrinkle, laugh lines, sorrow lines, love lines, all showing a transformative beauty, one of strength, character and enduring loveliness…

Ah yes Grace. I still think of the Sunflower people I photographed at the old place…the ones who were weathered and looked similar to this one. I remember that you commented on the beauty. Indeed.
