Saskia….Tales From the Birdhut      saskiavanherwaarden.com     WONDER FULL post  of May 12    her daily haikus,  Berlin and           Hundertwasser    !!!!    

years now ago,    Maria introduced me to him….had not known of him at all   and i was captivated    but then as time went on…

and i was lost in cloth making,   we drifted apart.   But as so many things Are,  lately,   he spiraled back through Saskia's trip to Berlin.

i typed him in on Amazon and TaDaaa!   this so much perfect timing with summer vacation from school coming on….   We have a  waterproof storage box out there on the table by the door where we sit.   full of my colored pencils,  pens,  scissors,  erasers,  pencils,  sharpeners and some markers, glue sticks,         and paper.             everytime they come….for the ice and battery drop offs,   there is the running,   the hide and seek,   the digging with utensils,  the playing of the metal  tongue drum and all they use for percussion    but it always ends up with      drawing.    Settling at the table they open the box and there it goes.     With more time,   we can do this book Together.   We can talk….no hurry….about all it tells us about how he thought,  what he loved   we can talk about what we think,  what we love     i am so beyond happy about this book.
