around 10 last night,  there was

WIND

HUGE WIND,  a constant unbroken FLOW ,  hours of it.  All night of it.   I haven't read about it yet…don't know the term they are giving it,  but same as the atmospheric River   and that too,  buckets of water dumping down

frightening.

all night and then half the day today.   People are without electric,  poles  and  lines down     parts of town were flooded.

and then….it was over.        '

will need to  walk the fence lines tomorrow.

I’ve thought of you all afternoon/evening…sent you a couple emails, since I was thinking of you and all. I hope any damage was small and easily fixable and the coming days are calmer.

you are such a fine woman, dear You….
will go to your mails now.
it felt and sounded as if this whole Hill might be ripped up and
    flung out into the Nowhere.
amazingly, except for a torn off tarp on the roof, all else held. chairs and things blown over and thrown around but somehow, all the trees I can see from here are still standing. Many branches like the one in the pic down, but amazingly, things held.
    big Love back,

Tornado in San Francisco of all places! Wonder if your winds were part of that? Hard to ride out fierce winds, rain…hope it eases up for you. I too sent you an email, but it was an early Winter Solstice greeting with the wish for the quiet calm that comes with the coming of the light. At the time I sent it, did not know what you were experiencing; I will hold the wish for calmer days, if possible.

We had the high winds too, one gust was measured at 58 MPH! Luckily, no rain at the same time. I was also glad it was from the south, not the north…
