Grace~ This is the photo that really got to me. I heard it is a ‘bunny’ (I had thought puppy? But who knows) and that is what his last name means – or something like that. That was from the school superintendent. It is crushing. Big Love to you, to us.

Using children as pawns, detaining them, moving them against the will of families is disgusting, wrong and morally outrageous. This family, from Ecuador, Liam, the little boy and his father “, Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, were part of a targeted operation based on their status as Ecuadorian nationals with pending asylum cases and are considered to be here legally. DHS claims the father fled and abandoned the child, while the father’s attorney states they were lawfully pursuing asylum.” (By the way, one of the Dad’s names, Conejo, means rabbit in Spanish as Nancy indicated.)

On yesterday’s PBS News Hour and from other news sources, Liam was at the door of his home with an ICE officer and people inside, family, said they would take him but were refused. Yet this is not the narrative told by the vice-president or ICE…Several visits to Liam’s home, by the school found a loving home, filled with toys, and a backyard for play and in general,a good, loving family atmosphere. There have been four other instances, in Minnesota, of children being taken by ICE and the thuggery of ICE bashing their way into homes when a door is open, is reprehensible…
