Julian on the left. the boys have been best friends since grade school. through his decision to home school, through covid. Through and up to his 8th grade when he'd always said he'd return to public school, which he did. we were some worried. He was not. and this year, his freshman year of high school, here he is. The self he has created and continues to create, at the end of this week attending the Top Ten Awards Ceremony , as one of the top ten academic students of his class.

I wanted to take a pic of the bell, so on the way to evening feed, i walked the short distance over and tapped the phone camera. looked down, looked up and in those seconds, the Light had changed and given this. I have never seen this color before. and it was only there for seconds.

I want them for the humming birds. and i really, really want them for the hummingbirds. So maybe this time around i just build a beauty Full trellis? What will that feel like?, to build it in anticipation?
