    after a long period of rain… really long… with only a few moments of sun scattered over months… the sun has come out today for solstice… i hope it stays for awhile. this has been hard on a lot of people. mostly i am worried for the farmers and my own garden. the peas are 8 feet high with no pea pods. lots of flowers waiting for some warmth. this is so uncharacteristic for portland, or. oh, persephone, please stay with us and bless us with your beauty!
