a quiet process. stopping to look a while at each step. talked to self, things like
"okay, this goes here, pin it. and again. good."
dogs lined up and watched, listened.
i am just going to let it all rest here for a while.

patty…they are funny. weresurprised by my talking to my sewing. we have oh so well established routines here and anything unusual is of great interest to them.and im thinking that that eye isso great, i might replace that piece so i can use it on anothercloth…?….

Oh, dogs are good critics, I think,the best. They wait and always give us our full due.I like that youre taking the butterfly through all the transformations. And yes, there isan eye!

beautiful butterfly grace. yes the colors are shifting in this one, magic is happening.im very much enjoying your cloth adventures… from spirit cloth to patchwork beats. i guess living a bit vicariously. im in the beginnings of a big move. pain in my butt. so some things packed here, others there… but soon will be settled again. soon.xox

And as I went back to this patchwork butterfly 2, I noticed that on her lower right wing, she has a green eye and she is looking at you and saying, we are ready to fly.
