the left is just a strip of muslin that lay on the bottom of a cast iron pot with a sediment of rust and
what ever Wind threw in there until the small amount of water evaporated.
the right, from a jar of beet leaves that fermented over time, slimy at the end. it also evaporated
some and when the cloth was exposed to dry, it got the marks and then i would squash it back in and
other parts would have that experience.
i have no idea whether or not any of this will be color fast.
i really need to learn. but in the meantime……..
