going there
all the grey/blue/green/doesn’thavetobeblacktoreadblack
pieces are the ones i’ve dyed. i need to keep going with
that. i don’t have any idea beyond what we see here, but
i do like that that left side alot, with the cloth and all it’s folds a Panel. maybe it will be Panels that somehow
come together at some point???? i can feel my hand, just
itching to stitch down some of those folds, wrinkles….
anyway, i ordered 8 oz of the colorhue black. will continue to dye the muslin and ? in the iron pot/copper pot
with onion skin…then the soak in the black color hue.
what occured to me in this moment is that all of this needs
to be color fast to at least warm fairly occasional washing. hmmmm. it’s going to be my cape. my Figuring Out What’s Next cape.LikeLike

i suggest you wash the pieces you dyed with the colorhue to see if the color is maintained. i tried it and the cotton muslin did not take the color at all. what little color was there washed out. it works great on linen. i wonder if there is a linen muslin.

I love the top photo – the basket textures with the cloth, some green spirit-doll perched on the dresser – its amazing how peering into the workspaces of others is so inspiring! PS – spiral giveaway over at my blog… they’re flat, so, easy to pack and take with!
