Oooh…love the grainy texture of this and the way certain parts stand out in the night! Thank you for your beautiful, original outlook.

Oh the baskets brimming with wondrous things, glowing in the darkness, all watched over by the moon, and stars of every thoughtful sort…

was just sitting in the chair just before going to sleep,
looking over across the room and i noticed how the
    light part…the orange/yellow stood out…had become
a singular shape that is not so visible, or at least
obvious in the light…so just snapped the picture with
the dim light of the sewing lamp in the back/side ground.
…i guess the grainyness is there in all the pics, just
absorbed by the light of day???? are these pixels????
i only know that word…don’t know what it means…
thank you for looking with me…it’s an important part of
    it all for me.

The cloth looks like the aurora borealis, and the raven to the left looks like he could be a shadow. Lovely.

i looked hard to see if you were in there somewhere, like the glow of your cloth & the blue light of the window curtain…now as i look, i expect a ghost to drift through.

your words make me want to find some of those plastic
glow in the dark stars that i got for my kids to put
on their ceilings in their rooms…

that beloved raven…i stole that too, come to think of
it. it was in my brother’s yard when i went there for
my mom’s 90th birthday. i found it in the grass. set it
up on the ledge by the garden only to find it fallen down again Xs maybe 4 or 5? so, i just put it in my duffle bag.
it’s one of the plastic ones that farmers get to chase off
birds from their crops. when i got back home (from
Minnesota), i confessed to him and he said “what raven?”
so…it was a good decision. i’m pretty intuitive about
    my thievery.

The graininess probably just is from the low light shooting with out a flash.. and pixels are just little tiny squares of color or light. So a say there is a photo that is one inch by one inch ..it could have say 50 pixels(squares of color) by 50 pixels and we could call it a low resolution if it is more pixels say 100pixels by 100 pixels then it is higher resolution which just means that you are getting more detail in the photo. You can enlarge it and see more detail in a small resolution if you enlarge it you see less detail or the boxes. Make sense? I hope so.. hahah ..

That you stole this makes me laugh; my mother would most certainly tell you that this Raven is probably unlike any other of the plastic Ravens, and probably has its own unique identity. And thus it ‘wanted’ to go with you. My mother raised us always to think about certain things (like stones and trees, but sometimes manufactured things!) as more or less ‘enchanted’. This makes me smile.
