here's where it is now.   i made a decision, changed my mind and then changed my mind again.   this is the far end of the living room….a wall window.   we need a break from each other.  we need just some not constant looking.  (as i look out of the corner of my eye)  (this window is about a yard from my right shoulder as i sit here at the computer)   this might last an hour or a day or a while.  we'll see.

here is the wall.  you can see how inclined i am to finish home improvement projects.  the naked drywall panels have been this way for…uh…4 years?  but, that's not the point here.  what will happen next ….. is.

    Yes- OK
I like the idea of stepping away (or trying to! HA) I’m easy Grace, I like everything, every combination you put up there, so I guess I couldn’t decide either! It is all so meaningful.
I love love love the redish orangish one above the moth moon…the one that looks like mountains to me.
Deep breath. It will become, it will.

The drywall….. I have many of those projects around our place. They will get done in good time.

Hi Grace, since ” talking to self” I thought about your cloth. For me every piece of your cloth is a strong individual – very expressiv and fantastic for itself. I can understand that it is not easy to combine it or to make a unit out of it. It is shurely helpfull to bring some space between you and your cloth. It remembers me at a group of brilliant kids who should build a team. Not easy but worth every effort.
I love your cloth … take the time to feel the process.

I love the light in this space .. and your cloths are always packed with so much content. I love how much you put into them and I enjoy watching your process of placement and thought and creativity! 🙂

hi LibbyQ! glad you came by…
this is just the cloth i am working on in Jude’s Magic
Diaries. i like to hang things on the walls and the
windows to just live with them while i watch their changes.
it won’t end up being a window cloth.
but, on windows, the light shows me things i couldn’t other wise see.
i am glad you appeared on Spirit cloth. i too live in a
rural place with no immediate creative community. Spirit
Cloth has been amazing. ALL of the women are wonderFULL.
again…happy to have you come here….

an interesting way to observe the work in progress . . .
i do love the effect of light through cloth, particularly here where it flows through in various ways depending on what you’ve added to it . . .
would make such a beautiful window covering for my single studio window . . . and flexible/drapey drapey enough to pull back onto a single beautiful hook(?) of some sort when i want more sunlight within the room.
i have enjoyed my ‘fly on the wall’ visits as well as my wordier one at Spirit Cloth.
i’ve enjoyed my visits here as well.
    🙂
