no venturing out yet.  today i feel that for sure.  i want to work on the Diaries cloth.    a little while ago i was so intently focused i forgot to breathe and actually got dizzy for a minute.    i am beginning to understand something a little more.  i don't know what it is, but it is a strong felt~sense.  i need to stay with this cloth.  now, it's just basting down all the various pieces that i knew i wanted to be there.   they are like different "scenes", or places or something.  some more literal than others.  but getting them basted is just the very first step to what feels like it's going to be a    lot    more.  but it's just a feeling ~001

am leaving all the outside edges loose so things can be mosaic'd in if that's what wants to happen.

Grace, today is a good day to stay home, the moon is in Cancer. I feel the same.
This is just so lovely and so you. I don’t really know how you come up with your color palettes but you’re tuned in to the vibrations, for sure!

your fabrics are something! do you dye them yourself? oh i guess it doesn’t matter who has dyed them ! i am really liking your style Grace, the balance of shapes and colours are great. i too love spending time with my fabrics and even love the basting. i can get lost in an entirely different world and it feels beautiful. so good for your soul and spirit. enjoy your stitching. marg. ox

    the stitches.
so light, this thing so far. just muslin OR whatever
that “household” cloth is. and then what goes on it
there is no anything else. that might or might not come.
    i don’t know.

    Margaret………..yes.
it IS a world of its own. takes me in.
some i have dyed…the darks of the ground cloth, yes.
others over dye with mostly onion skin and tea
the darks are with the Elderberry here. so different than
from the Elderberry that Deb G gets…so i can’t really
    say anything that means much.
it is of the deepest part of me, soul/spirit. yes.
