right panel and 90% of middle (2 petals of the sunflower to do and a little on mothMoon)  is firmly stitched.  then, left panel: glennis' Moon window and the buddha illusion.  so…i am nearing the moment when i will be able to

take the cloth on my LAP, hold as i sew.  EEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee!!!!!

AND,  finally, i did do it.  the lizard was too long.  this proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that stitches are forever if left on their own.  it was HARD, like really HARD to remove just these small stitches.  but…done.   and i found the old drawing from a while ago about how they need to go East and West at least, maybe North and South

they were drawn on a paper i drew my Beasts Workshop lizard as Jude taught me….  and it's interesting that i noticed for the first time that i had given the little ones   Necks?…???

especially with it’s butt removed…eeeee….i will fix
that soon. it was just too long and the tail wasn’t
    right.
i tried to just let it go, but………..nope.
    need to fix it.
just because you did something doesn’t mean it needs
    to stay that way.
    revise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks for saying that…
the cloth is a really significant thing for me.
    thread…well, it’s funny….trying one after another
and since i use only one strand of the 6 strands, you
would think it’s not such an issue, but it IS. which
    one. sit and stare, decide.
    thanks, BJ

What fun is here Grace–seeing process and thought evolve–hope it’s not too cold for you as you stitch away on the dear lizard revision, and his mates soon to arrive. ONE strand out of the 6–Whew, I do at least 2, sometimes 3!!! I too love that multicolored pile of possibilities. Years ago I gave away a pile like that (having never used it) left from a previous friend. Now that I am involved, I could kick myself. But no matter. I have enough for now.

As I was first scrolling down, I saw the collection of threads and thought Oh my Grace has added a large, protruding, texture spot! …Then I looked closer and got that, No it is a collection of beautiful threads, in many colors! lol Silly me 🙂
I love that little lizard. I get such a friendly vibe from it. And I love the the circle weaving – wit extension hanging down, continuing. I love your drawings! I told my son if he has to do a gift for me-that beasts class would be it! Lol
I have a question…in the top photo, on the bottom right there are 6 lines (3 north/south and 3 east/west)…will you tell me (us) about that?

Oh I love that little orange lizard too! Her body language, the way her little legs are holding her body up – perfectly still but ready to bolt, is just right. I can easily picture the rest of her!

Grace! I’m so so happy to see The Cloth. I’m really disoriented seeing this in your lap, or it’s like a whole new thing to see it up close. So two things here so far that are my new favorites: the way the three long rectangles meet and overlap. This kind of overlapping is the magic of the whole cloth weaving thing for me; well, the overlap and the stitch that holds them there. So there you are, with three pieces of cloth, the whole wonderful magic of cloth weaving. And second, place where the woven circle just overlaps the ninepatch. Gulp! This is kind of heartbreakingly tentative, tender, something I can’t put into words. Thank you Grace, I just love it here!

that woven circle is the INSIDE of the weaving that i
cut for the Window Hanger for Wendy’s children….the
