Nice, Grace… that I can touch into your process while sitting at school in between classes. I like the mellow color. There’s a wind advisory today and I just might blow away to OZ.

growing and glowing…and here-snowing. no school today, but i will watch the boys play through the window & stitch on your socks, thinking of these beautiful warm colors.

This is just getting sooooo evolved so fast. I’m chilled in the crisp evening after an afternoon of carting boxes for my elder friend (been helping her move ‘forever’ out of State for weeks now and it will continue through the month) I sampled the sky as I made my trips to various seconds shops with what she is not taking, and gleaned some lovely items for (including a substantial bit of cloth for you as soon as I can get to the post. Checked it this morning, and returning find the adorable threesome added on. Lovely lovely lovely little critters!

Made it home – and not to OZ- however, I can literally skate in my driveway. Lots of Wind
dries things up and cold wind freezes things – hard.

i “knew” that, of course, but it just didn’t register…

velma…they’re just all pinned up together so i can
look at the variety of shades i’ve managed in that
onion skin dye pot. all except the darkest were white
before dye. all different kinds of cotton, one linen.
i would never use them like this in a cloth…just want
shreds of them for well for whatever they
need to be for as time goes on.

Beautiful pup colors in you’ve got! I should just say “SSH” from now on for Still Sunny Here! But I hear we’re due for some rain this weekend 🙂

NO NEED–I’ll shop for both of us–but what I got today was from my friend BEFORE it went to the shops. Wait till you see.

I like how it turned out this will give me the last push to continue experimenting myself. I tried walnut and a sort of geranium last fall, but not onion yet.
Outside here it is cold and wet after three very cold and sunny days. Perfect time to stich and think…

i think there is a great variation even with onion skins.
where they are grown, and again, i think a big factor
here is the water we have and what’s in it. i used a
copper pot. today i put a piece of the same cloth in
and NOTHING…the skins are depleted. it’s really
    fascinating.
    glad you’re back home stitching!

“The more it snows, tiddly-pom, the more it goes, tiddly-pom on snowing!” Or something like that. Oh those three are so sweet together. Yes, that’s the color.
