   and i will wait too. unexpected event today and now,
   home late. the goats had to guess why i wasn’t here
   when they expect their evening food and water. i worried
   all the while that they would just cry. but when i pulled up, all was quiet and when i came through the gate, they
   ran to come to the fence and begin to tell of their hunger, their thirst. they waited. oh, how they teach me.
