Hi all! me too: my light was lit!
If you want to see something amazing, go to the NPR site and watch the filmed rescue of the people who nearly went down with the Bounty ( replica, that is). The Coast Guard has heroes! Happy Halloween! e.

My best wishes to everyone who may have been caught up in this terrible storm – we have been watching it approach from afar and just sending wishes out for the safety of everyone. I was thinking of Jude there on Long Island and hoping.

today, i am more stricken by it all than when it was happening.
the devastation seems larger and larger, really, for me.
    i feel speechless.

ooh, I had this very variety of Mary candle lit on Saturday, when a group of “Sisters” met here for dream sharing, meditation, silence… I left the house afterwards, candles blown out (I’m pretty sure), and when I returned, the Mary candle had tipped over (it was on my ironing board-turned altar) and waxed spilled all over the floor. It was unnerving and now looking back, it was just hours before the storm hit..
