These last three posts go together. i couldn't make it happen. but they need to be here, as witness for this week when i learn MORE about Waiting and Allowing.

Hello Grace, your goats are so soulful and lovely. I’m on a train in North Dakota heading for NJ. Very grateful to be able to stay connected to this community. Love the red cloth too and the winged ones. Xoxo, s

My second place to live here in New Mexico was off the frontage road of 25 and they had a small gathering of farm animals. A nanny and billy were amongst them. The nanny remained somewhat skittish of me, but the billy grew to love me and would ba-a-a-a-a for me to come pet him when I came home from work. (He was kept in a small pen.) He loved to run back and forth “playing” with my dog running outside, too. Sweet as could be. Yours, too, look sweet ~
(And it’s not you – you’re the third person I follow who’s had problems with Typepad – not sure if it was Sandy or something else.)

kat???? then, are you in New Mex now?
somehow there is a feeling that it’s the Goats that will
teach me HOW to love in the world right now, how to keep
going FOR the ongoingness of a planet that is being
so violated

Trip planned a while ago…going to see son and family, who have no power, but otherwise thankfully OK. There are two fellow passengers who have a goat ranch in CA. Goats are everywhere, well, not on the train, but maybe they’re helping to hold the world together.

So much personality comes through. When I consider what I like about working with one and two year old children, I always come back to the fact that they are who they are and they say what they need, nothing hidden. I think the goats would be like that.

Hello Grace, such beautiful patterns in the shadows and the colours of the land and the goats – a beautiful story. My thoughts have been with you a lot, wondering how the departure of so many goats has changed things – or not? Love and hugs to you always (p.s. loved the moth)!
