i want to work

001f

but yesterday, when at the Refuge with the kids,  we found something that left a mark of a life event.  in the cleared area, at the water's edge, in the reeds and grasses,  black feathers.  coyote/crow or raven.   the children were told not to touch these, so i couldn't either.  but todayi need to go back.

hi grace–besides the “feeling sense(!)” of the cloth, the composition is very powerful and really enhances the cloth’s essence. especially enjoying the merging of lines and blending of colors on the arm-wings.
i’ve picked up many a bird from the roadside–most notably hawks and owls–and if/when i get my blog going, those stories might resurface (now i see why my kids think i’m a little “tetched.”
