waiting till it is warm enough, till the fire catches hold.  waiting till it is light out, a little at least enough to see the stitch of the wind and i just hold the cloth…it is so

soft, light

and again, i watch what happens when i hold it to the lamplight.

just journaling these moments this morning of almost winter

it is just SO SO almost non existent to hold in the dark.
muslin on harem cloth then the images…the images giving weight
that it does have, but the Substance of the whole is so so light.

eyes, wind , waiting, new voices, (un)stitching
    your story unfolding
I have learnt more about you and your world, so that is enough for now

I can see the wind! Light and dark. Now silhouetted like shadow-puppets, they seem almost behind a fine veil. But her presence is so strong like she will be standing there forever if that is what it takes. Haunting and beautiful.

i used to do workshops on mask making, using strips of
casting tape to cover a persons face. when you take them
off and turn them, so that inside faces out, when they
are lit by candle light, a holographic image appears
of a face looking Out. interestingly, quite often it
    was an entirely Different face…???…

HA. I’ve made those masks and taught that, too.. never did that with a candle, never seen a holographic image… must try it!

it’s really really something. if i can find the photograph from a workshop, i will ….uhhh, ….
the thing that copies photographs…i can never remember
what it’s called…anyway, i’ll copy it and email it to
    you.
it is a total mystery, those inner images.
