so….here we are, the Eve

the hopelessly in love wedding cloth  has been tacked down on some kind of vague blue something and will be rolled up in the Morning to await next New Year's Eve when i will again celebrate the Union.  and here…oh, here is my Lucky 2013 Butterfly calendar from the Dollar Store upon which in the next hours i will transcribe all significant info from this passing year that needs mindfulness in the coming year.  The Goats have gone to their straw beds after drinking long and deep from just scrubbed and filled water tubs,  the dogs are piled up next to the wood stove and the cat has excused herself for her early evening prowl.  All is Well and i want to THANK Everyone who has come here and offered me encouragement over this past year.  My Love for you is BIG and i am grateful beyond anything i can ever tell You.

    so it is a true compliment, whatever that means, that you
    took the time for this New Year’s wish.
    but then, also, i think how we are all just Women. Doing
    what we do and spreading that all over this Beloved
    Planet.

    Grace: thank you SO MUCH for your ‘Hopelessly in Love’ post.
    I have had (still have) EXACTLY the same reactions about my clothwerk. My kids smile indulgently and tell me ‘it looks like mold’ (the specks you get from bundling (especially) Maple leaves.) Or just smile and scratch their heads.
    Family and friends, too, often snark. Some in a kindly way, some not.
    But it’s so important to not be dissuaded.
    B/c SOMETHING is ‘speaking’ to you and you must let it out.
    I loved that you posted that-we don’t have to be carbon copies of each other to still be friends and loved/loving.
    Thank you for this blog. I always enjoy your stream-of-consciousness posts. And the goats. 🙂

    yes…i love your words here. it’s always such an odd
    moment, when showing someone something that you see as
    totally and completely amazing and and they have a kind of
    blank look and you can tell they are searching for the
    right words..
    but really…the love for this stuff just grows and
    i don’t and won’t care. no matter anything. i just

    To you I’d like to say thank you for this powerful photograph of something that has become equally important and regular. You must know by now that you have impacted my life in a very special way. So, thank you for that…and for the deeply intense & personal – reflective…posts and ponderings and cloth…thanks for your ever-growing sharing of the goat life. It allows me to vicariously experience something not in my daily life…and the very special way you look at your life with goats always opens my heart. Thanks for sharing your mighty Julian who, through his unique language of seeing the world, climbed into my heart for good.
    May 2013 continue the goodness and bring you enough. I am grateful and honored to be on this journey with you, Jude and ALL of the women/men doing what we do (however that looks). This is good.
