Yes!  worked well enough!!  THIS is Marti's Chili powder cloth…the intense depth of color that she will work, undaunted,  to find a way to repeat and hold the coloUr.  Chili powder.  just AMAZING.

and equally undaunted, this oh so loved Earth gave me this single moment this morning…as if in response to Marti's cloth

i did Nothing to change or enhance this moment caught on the camera…it is exactly as it happened out there…that something about the physics of Light in New Mexico.   sometimes so surreal.

now off to a day OutSide

Ooo, that color. And I’m liking the white cabinets. Oddly enough… I had my first homemade goat cheese on Thursday at the fiber group I belong to. I asked more questions about the process than I might have–because I wanted to understand what was ahead of you… My friend made chèvre with cracked pepper and some with garlic. It was the consistency of cream cheese and we spread it on crackers. It was pretty wonderful.

The cloth is so very beautiful…Marti has accomplished a color that has never come alive from my dye pots…amazing and ever so beautiful…just like that glorious sky and “painted” tree..orange, bronze, amber, orange, periwinkle sky…what delights for my senses this beautiful morning in Missoula…garden will get some love and attention today.. oh that I would see such color when the sun rises or sets her…magic and speaking to my spirit.
An aside…the shiny floor tiles remind me of stories of wearing shiny Mary Jane’s when I was a kid..:~)..

Love the cloth’s color. And the sky, amazing. Our sky is surreal…sunset with fires = that odd orange sky.
