just going to put these here this morning  and then see how the day unfolds.  supposed to be a big Storm day…so, just in case.

about What Ifing a white shirt…into something that just barely covers.  how i was sure i didn't have anything to work with, even if i might decide i would and how all of a sudden, i remembered.  and was so surprised i didn't dust the mirror or even comb my hair…..

MORE later

i did it.  there were 3 sacks of 4 Mangos each.  on sale, a dollar a sack.  not all were good.  but here it is.  5 pints all processed and sealed for eternity, 5 little PINGs  as they came out of the canning bath…i love that.  PING!  such a sweet sound.  and then 3/4 of a quart jar to use now.  i ate a lot of it…taste test…and what i know is that a lot of my spices are old, dull.  need to renew before much more Indian Cooking.  ok.

Dust? What’s that, in this city it’s grease and soot, ashes and rust. hope the storm brings welcome wind and not too wild…and beautiful displays of light, and wet stuff too.

have you ever seen close ups of ummm histamines? they
have little sticky things coming out from them?…that’s
the kind of dust here. it clings to surfaces, to each
other dust beings…forming an unmovable coating…
really quite extraordinary and i LIKE dusted worlds but
there’s only so much time in any given day
and hair too…only so much time
there are a few people who just come through the gate
by themselves and i love to see the look on their faces
    when they see me

Laughing…so similar to one of my days recently. Sewing and making apricot jam… I love that ping too. It’s “mission accomplished.”

i think probably yes, we all did. but at the time,
we probably didn’t appreciate them as much as we could
have. now, i think back.. to die for. yup.

interesting…thinking about histamines without the anti stuck in front of it, a lesson there.
oooh i like the idea of the ping… never done canning like that, only made stuff like jams, chutneys etc then put into sterilized jars. does it keep better? is it easy to do?
    fab legs now and then!
yes, life (and my hair)is too short for excessive combing/housework. your dust sounds like the sticky tree pollen we get on our wee car at this time of year. we dust only occasionally but have to hoover a lot due to having four cats! i iron only really for inspiration as i find ideas come when ironing!
