the hardest part of posting Every Day is the honesty it requires. no excuses. when you don't sew, you have to say: nothing. nada. and again, i say, nothing. nada.
because This, instead. i'd bumped into the same persen 3 times in as many weeks in town. i know him from the Farmer's Market. last time he said that he was thinking of doing some handyman work. He makes high end jewelry and it's slow now. Handy Man. nice words, but…always give me a feeling… but anyway, i said i wanted to do some more with my Goat Worlds, thinking this might be his litmus test. well, this morning he called before 7 am and said he had some time and was i up for it? so…ok. so…yes. and he brought his truck full of scrap wood and an assortment of stuff and we set to work making the Does in the Way Back yet another THING to comfort them from the Inclements. he's slow. but it was ok and really, even good. i will add to it in the next days. but the parts that are hard for one person to do are done. he does some interesting gardening. and brought a lunch of Spring Rolls…the skins and then all kinds of sprouts and seedling plants and nuts and sesame seed and shredded carrot and cabbage. it was GOOD and i can feel my body now finishing digesting it all and the nutrients whizzing through all my systems. really. it was raw and totally FRESH born FOOD. so…again, NICE but i could feel self dwindle as the day went on. i NEED
NEED
days to my self. days to the cloth.
but the Goats need too. and they spent their day watching and going in and out and around, inspecting the circular saw, the new wood, and when he left they rushed over En Masse to all cluster under the new Thing. they are Appreciative to the enth degree of shelters you make for them. So, now, well, not quite yet now, but Soon, it will be as good as it can get out there. i will have done my BEST for them. and in doing so, for my Self. so we will Just Go. This eases some the Longing to do cloth. ok.
then…evening water, and oh…two clusters only. but TWO CLUSTERS!
Mimosa. self planted. Volunteer.
and at the End. the two pots next to the aqua watering can. Walnut Pots. one for me and one for Marti. and i found the cover to the little cast iron dutch oven that is on the spool table. ok then. and hanging next to the cloth from yesterday, a piece of cotton that was/is a shirt from the thrift shop…re~dyed, over dyed . i like it. Feel just so completly FORTUNATE to have
Walnut.
so….What? will tomorrow bring?
