turn of events.  had planned on continuing, but something Goaty was roiled up in the stars and the Goats were BAD.  Carolyn called and called and called.  almost non stop.  which makes me on EDGE.  but her kids are driving her NUTS.  eeeee.

and then early afternoon, there was SUDDEN total preoccupation in the Island weeds in the Way Back.  Arctica got stuck (the one with horns?, Buckwheat's sister?) TWICE and i had to cut her free and then Magic somehow got INTO the Island.  i guess under the fence..???, but was IN there and everyone else was admiring her status from that and…..  so, i had to go take Ona's collar off her and put it on Magic and she WOULD NOT COOPERATE because she had no idea what was going on and i again, was not patient and  was not just standing there till i could help her understand, so it turned out that we wrestled our way to the little gate.  i prevailed, but barely.  it's amazing how STRONG a Goat is.  and the rest of the day i worked on how to shore up that fence.  it might end up being to no avail in the end but i need to try

and i did find the above before all this went into motion.  GOOGLEd  and there it was…is not  scholarly but i like it a LOT.

so..tomorrow's another day.

it’s hard to be patient, to wait, when waiting doesn’t seem like an option and it seems that some thing must be done. and odd things can happen when the status quo is disturbed like it was yesterday. things you cannot anticipate. i think your instinct to restore boundaries w/o waiting was valid–you may never know what was avoided because of your quick actions. as i was reading it originally i was thinking, “oh no, not the datura.” so good. and then the other thing. the hormone thing. heading into fall and their natural cycle of breeding for early spring kids. all of this. and while you might not have felt patient, the cloth is. patient. and looking lovely.

what i am interested in is looking at and understanding something
about my Color sensibility. how the
colors and combinations in the images there, so many of them and
all in one place, gives me such a good opportunity to LOOK.
working as i do with recycle from just the local Thrift Shop
    presents a challenge. i never buy fabric…well, not true…
sometimes muslin. and thinking how tea dye Saddens colors so
i can use them. and now walnut to work with for that purpose.
and interspersed, small fragments of Deb Lacativa’s work….
so…it is the colors, colors placed in relationship

well….thinking about it this morning. again,…
try to keep ahead of Potentials. i have kept fence cutters
right by the door for a while now. but this is only the
second time one of them got into that little Oasis. and
the longer these moments go on, the more they remember
    about the mechanics of it.
interesting thing is, until yesterday, they had not been
particularly interested in those weeds in there…and
there are exactly the SAME weeds around the outside
perimeter of the fence…just not Big ones…and maybe it
is that the big ones inside, that get water from watering
the tree and two bushes, the big ones have begun going to
seed. Goats are amazing a choosing certain points in Life Cycle of plants…
anyway…need to keep a lead by the door too. and get
    more collars.
but mostly, it’s keeping ahead. two days ago i brought
home more metal T posts to add to that fence, knowing
it was vulnerable but didn’t put them in. so…last
evening. and i rewove the areas of the fence that i’d
cut through to let Arctica’s horns out… and watched
them All go look at the reweaving over the next hours.
Amazing how they pay such close attention to Details in
    their space.
Nigerians come into heat monthly….so it’s not as exaggerated, but probably there is something to this too, as fall breeding is optimal.
OH! and the other thing…it is possible that there is
a Wasp nest in the one very thick bush/small tree. had
we disturbed that it could have been a total disaster.
so…was feeling like we needed to get out of there
FAST. and speaking of FAST, i forgot to go look at the
    Spider last eve…oh, wha.

The hornets nest could pose a serious problem indeed! There’s a color to contemplate…a couple of colors! Oh, and what if that red spotted spider began appearing all over a cloth? Swinging from place to place on her silk threaded path!

in the Rest of the World? the spirit of place of the tropics or the polar ice caps or the savannnah or the coral islands of the deep blue sea or from the middle of a big city like Michelle inNew York or me here in Sydney? you work with the spirit of place wherever you are & get to know the lay of the land, the way the rock is, the way the water is held, the hot spots, the cool and see how the light changes and listen and see what she says or that’s how I feel it out…

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Art-Nouveau-Floral-Designs-Poster/dp/1851701516
thought it was a dover books one but actually it is by bracken books. it has beautiful floral designs in similar colours to yours. the thistle one is amazing.
sorry not to have time to comment, we have had ongoing mystery water leak issues over the last month and i am job hunting as well as volunteering for a local charity. i will try and get back on track though xxx
