not the day i Wanted, but the day i got.   Morning was yet one more thing to do for the Old Cowboy.  took till noon.  Home and…..

there was an explosion of water, like a FOUNTAIN from the pipe leading into the water thingy for the toilet.   BACK to town to explain to hardware guys.  they sell me something, run through the installation.  ok.  Home again and i get to the place where i need to remove with the Crescent wrench and i remember all the times that because of the calcification,  things have gone wrong.  So.  i call Paul the guy who does Everything and he is working nearby and will come in a couple hours.  No Water in House.  Waiting.  which is my least favorite thing of all.  hours pass.  more than a couple.  i call Paul again… "EEEEEeee, I spaced it out"…ok  in a half hour.  Whaa.  and the part i got is not the thing i need so Paul will come back in the morning.

so i spend that time waiting, playing with the colors.

and i notice this.  which i'll set aside to use in some future cloth….i hadn't seen it before.

the pods are from the Snake Tree and i will send them to Doris when i find the right box.

    it’s been a while since i read this…a phone call…
    but i am STILL LAUGHING!!!!
    SHE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE MR POTATO HEAD!!!!!!!

    so before i read your comment here, i thought maybe the onion pic is one of those exercises in finding 10 different ever-so-slight-changes between one and the other. and the changes all had to do with light. the second one, just a bit more light? and i was thinking about light and how cool it was that you would give us such a fun experiment. and then i read your comment. and now i am the one laughing. as for spider, wooly little critter isn’t she.

    and i am laughing almost a year later, she does look like mr potato head. spiders are just so amazing
    and the synchronicity…it was the pipe going into our toilet cistern that caused our leak to the flat below, except it is a hidden cistern and some fool had tiled the whole lot and left no access. it was a drip drip leak until the plumber came along and caused a flood!

    last night i got up to turn off the fan and still, in the dark heard a sound i couldn’t identify and made self wake up enough to go out and look with the flash light. Sure enough,
    the small hose to the Cooler had cracked and water was
    spraying all over. Water is a FORCE to be reckoned with.

    it seems that many things need to be fixed at an ever increasing rate, i don’t ever remember a plumber coming to our house when i was wee, hope you manage to sort it out ok
