going through all the scraps…some i just can't seem to find.  so, maybe that's  ok.  and will leave that for the moment.   i think i'm thinking too much.   too many interupted days too.    this one will for sure be just invisibly basted…all it's parts,  because there wil be no order to how things are added.  Under, Over  it can go so many ways. and string.  maybe string.

it IS. and just because they WANT to. no other reason…
no competition, no need to get out of shade to SUN….
just because they FEEL like it.
gave me such a funny feeling, looking up, realized i’d
not noticed…that i’d only payed attention at eye level

Oh a sunflower playing a trick. That is just astounding. I wonder which bees and beetles fly up that high? Did it self seed? (The sunflowers that are native here grow, mostly, from their tubers and roots; they flower so late, I suppose they can’t reliable be pollinated by little flying creatures).

yes. Self Seed. they are LOVED by the little finches
and i can hear the small song of any in my sleep even…
a beautiful single so PURE note
the SunFlowers sometimes are just FULL of the spaces
between fields and roadways…it’s very beautiful. this year not so many….maybe the initial Excessive heat? their leaves become dried and crisp early on, so are not what we might think attractive to have around, and also many small black caterpillars and all their chewed holes, but again…the delight of the finches, those wild seeds….
this particular one was along the fence where i planted Onions. so did get regular water, but there were/are several others receiving the same that did not feel this URGE to the same degree.

So….now we have a self seeding TALL sunflower to go along with a TALL SHE with a vagina…is she perhaps self seeding too ?? This conversation is getting too heady for me…or maybe it’s ’cause I’ve been breathing cleaning products all day. Grace, the wedding is in a few days…YIKES ! Good Night to all.

I love the cloth, watching it evolve, and the sunflower too…it reminds me of Jack and the Beanstalk somehow…

yea indeed. jack’s sun stalk and the caterpillars are Jacks and Jills maybe. I’m always looking up here in the city, when I’m not looking down, that is. I see ‘Her’ at eye level of course. Hope she gets more of your time soon.

Did the black sunflowers ever come up? I’m not sure mine did. There are some darker sunflowers but still have some gold on them. … Also. I just love those photos that have white clouds so that it looks like there is no edge to the p holograph like the one you have above. Like there’s just a bit of watercolor for the sky!

no. i think they were eaten. i planted them at first
opportunity and it was when there was little out there
for the ecosystem…so i think were interpreted as FOOD.
    ….hmmmm…..
    there IS no edge…..it’s stunning
