the little virus' or germs or entities or whatever,  i think they've had their way with me and are just leaving,  having lost interest.   and feeling better enough today to want to eat

Celia.  Jan, the Practical couldn't even help herself.  said a couple time…"you are really Pretty".  and we know it's not supposed to matter at all, prettiness or not.  it's the Milking.  and look in the background,  her mother, Lucky Star's bag.  nice.  and she's weaning Celia even.   Lucky Star.  for sure a keeper.    but these are things for their own post.

and i began looking again at the Migration Cloth, wondering again how i was ever going to "talk" about the signals and signs of the passage.  when suddenly i looked over to this cloth on the left that has been there for some months.  it was a cloth of Whatever…just anything at all i wanted to put there,  unrelated, no story,  just to see what happened.   well…there Was the Burning Bush, but it never did relate to anything else.  but i looked closely and some of the stitch marks…

    So glad to hear you are feeling better. And I thought it too. Before I saw your words. What a pretty little goat. It will be interesting to see your migration thread language.

    yes. she is pretty. like Storms. black and white
    colliding.
    when you develop a herd, color, patterning, are not to be counted in. it’s bone structure, conformation, the possibility of bag placement and “attachment”.
    but Celia, well, she is Pretty. she just is. and has a
    good sense of humor.

    Heart leaping happiness here…your soup, those gorgeous goats, and the cloth talk. Yup, storm must be drifting off to elsewhere…acorns on the way, and I’m going to the post tomorrow with black walnuts you can use for dye, or eat, and maybe soak and plant one (but away from everything…like across the road since the roots discourage all other growth and the whole thing can be toxic….but such fine coloring…and a glorious taste for anyone who wants to go to the trouble of extracting the nut. It ain’t easy…hammer and chisel work…but you know that. Meantime, just ‘hey’. Oh wait–I wrote a piece tonight at my regular writing group…it’s because of You and I’ll send it when I can get back to my email….the six other went ga ga and said it was the best ever. I like it…maybe you will too.

    I love the burning bush. Could that triangle on the right be Mt. Sinai? It could be a different kind if migration, since we humans do it too. Love your stitches. It’s nice to see them up close and see the colors.
    Your soup looks delicious and life saving. Your goats are adorable, as always. They look so friendly and interested. I’d live to pet them. I’m sure that little one doesn’t mind being pretty.
    Glad you’re getting better.

    Julie, I love your idea of “sense of humor”..critters really do have character especially goats. I am of the opinion that they consider themselves far and beyond all of the rest of us..it can sometimes be a pain in the tush but my ex sheep and goats were such a lively community.

    Little Celia, colorful and gorgeous and she would be for she is named for my beloved Salsa Queen Celia Cruz. When next I come, I will bring my dyed scarves because I need to dance for Celia, both our little goat Celia and for Big Celia, who I’m sure is singing and strutting her stuff in the cosmos, grinning at this little goat who is lovely and lively…shouting her signature greeting, “Azucar” which means sugar in Spanish.
