‘Evening, Grace…that firewood is deliciously beautiful..so yummy that I’m inspired to sew myself a garment using those colors..we’ll see. And your Altar Eye..hmm, I first typed Alter Eye…hmmm. If I was a wee, small thing, I would ask to be rolled up inside it ! I have been away so a belated Happy New Year to all your guests.

    I LOVE that ‘unknown’ entity
AND that just getting going cloth
vut the log–the LOG is modern art, is a finished canvas, is inspiring me to think about painting….and stitching, and also to think about the packages winging toward those baskets.

Grace…these cloths are wonder full. they’re both so packed full of deep, deep understanding. some thing i’m unable to express happens when i gaze at them. but it resonates deeply. and the log. yes. to remember this the next time i meander into the world of “where do i go now?”

ok. the thing i’m unable to express? it’s the abstract beneath the literal expression. that’s what’s pulling at me. the want to go deeper. less literal. more essence. don’t know if that makes any sense.

The beauty in the log . nature as designer, always a champion. The pieces lifted and joined, so delicious and my spirit continues to be pulled to this creation…alive and beginning to sing its song, tell its story.
    Altar cloth becoming..lovely

it’s no longer an altar cloth. Altar cloths need to be
free of me, free of my own looking
this one has taken me in

the cloth speaks, the cloth pulls the creator in as stitches are formed…now there is a new place for this cloth to live….to feel the shift, and honor the voice of the cloth…and to know well what is necessary for an altar cloth, all good stuff

Can you imagine being able to make a cloth that looks like that log?
