off the curtain and onto the wall
the talisman. 7 black and white beads 1 red blood bead black threads. this has been with me for many many many years. first drawn in drawings, then made with seed beads and a tiny african "blood" bead on Certain of the fiber figures. and lately, on Certain Cloths, like the Shelter for Wandering Spirits. I have never chosen to identify it's meaning other than to call it magic. This morning it is as if it spoke. it's Faith. faith in What? i asked. Faith in the willingness for faith. and i identify that, the faith in the willingness for faith, as Just Going. Which is what clothmaking has taught me, what Jude taught me when she opened this world of cloth for me.
so here. as a Promise to self.
as of April, clothmaking Rules. no more so many days away. no more deferring the Energy like it has been this morning to run off to elsewhere. it may be self-indulgent, may be a Karmic Obligation. But i'm going to take the chance.
