a lot of invisible baste,   a lot of very small stitches.  3 of what will be crows.  not yet, but they will be.   attending to what exactly says  "crow" in a form.   so…3 crows.

Crow form. It’s a good thing to imagine. You can use it in a sentence, “And then the day went all crow shaped.” I wonder what that would mean.

it would mean INTENSE. it would mean FOCUSED. it would
mean completely delineated against a background of S K Y.
it would mean a single eye zero ing in
it would mean strength, tilting at angles
    Riding the thermals
and Sound. it would mean Sound.

I think of a motto type thing. There’s a crow perched on top of a pine tree. The word is Vigilance. Because they see everything. A crow shaped day might be tumbling through the sky with friends for the fun of it.
    I needed it too.

it’s raining here this morning. raining hard. and i’m wondering what the neighborhood crows are up to. so these ideas here–form, fringe, meaning of crow–lovely thoughts for starting the day. many years ago a “seer” told me to pay attention to crows. three crows. three crows over my left shoulder. i don’t remember what they mean so i’m going to come up with my own meaning.

I love your loose threads, grace.
The crows around here “talk” – a lot and always loudly. There is no whispering for a crow. They seem sort of darkly funny. I like them.

Hello Jude! Crow form. I can imagine a nice big crow in black fabric with his feathers embroidered like brocade. If I could draw it I could make it, but it wouldn’t come out like I see it now, black velvet and gold like the Italian Renaissance. Thanks, my ideas have been stuck for a couple of months.
I’ve been enjoying your stories about the kitten. I’m glad your kitty loves you, because when they don’t you’re in trouble. LOL

It sounds like a fairytale have three crows over your shoulder. Sometimes they tell us things, it’s true. Sometimes they’re just going.

The chuckle and a bonk bonk sound. Indescribable, and unspellable. The young ones hang out with their friends like teenagers do everywhere.

I can’t even get to the crows because of the joy of the BALLOONS, WOMAN, and GOAT has stopped me so thoroughly. There is so much joy there. In combination with a couple of your comments, it makes me think about the ways that the cessation of ‘trying to figure things out’ can very possibly produce joy?

well, they are really Moons, but maybe moons are balloons?
    and that’s her staff.
and as i think about this 365 days of blogging, i think, yes.
there HAS been a cessation and yes, there is, IS, more a
sense of a kind of quiet joy.

no. no whispering. but they do have soft sounds. they
make the most beautiful crow words that are like a
Rain Rattle. i love them so much. they speak to me about
    Safe Place.
