when things come up 3 times in succession,  you have to Act.  and so.   Not being able to figure out how to do it  technically,  i entered a Note today in the shop.  and just as i was leaving that "page", i noticed that there was some kind of box for "commentary" or something like that.  and guess what?

it's how i can indicate that the cloth has     sold     .  Ta Da.   but i will still leave the handwritten apology.

*home economy…the phrase that Wendy of graceandmending.blogspot.com gave me during one of the go rounds about selling one's work and not feeling bad about it.

For Clarity...as best as i can do it.....

That little word sold over and over. I’ve looked at your handwriting for a long time here. In this odd typewritten world it looks so beautiful. So… you.

    dad.
actually, after i posted the above and looked at it where it says

    i thought…oh, eeee. it’s sloppy handwriting. but it’s how i
    write now.

I like it. Written words. So cool.
I was thinking about home economy, home economics, why call it that? Husbandry, housekeeping, home making, and stewardship. All alike in a way. But why home economics instead of home arts or science? I can see the teacher, “This is a budget, boys and girls.” Useful, but not the whole subject.
Congrats on selling your lovely cloths.

What a great idea for posts on a day where there’s not all that much to say…I did it once a long time ago when someone gave me a beautiful fountain pen. Time to dig it out…

actually, i think Wendy said Household Economy. i put
Home Economy in the above because i didn’t want the
title of the Post too long so it didn’t fit…
    but either way…
Why economics, economy? because it is. the making of the
cloth is home arts and science. but the Selling of one’s work is economics.
like when you look up a country or a state in Wikipedia…
there’s info about that place…geographic, history, demographics, and ….. Economy. what does that area DO?
in the world of Exchange of Goods?
so i loved thinking of selling the cloths as household economy or economics…because it IS. i make a cloth.
someone likes it, wants it, gives so many dollars for because they can, they have those “extra” dollars that won’t cause a hardship, and i receive those dollars and give those dollars to either Jackie for bales of alfalfa or Nelia for bales of grass hay and Ta Da feed the Goats…
WHICH is where there is a glitch in the economic thread…
well, except for goat manure, i am not milking them now, so this particular economy has a uhhhh, glitch for the moment…BUT if it were going right, i would feed the Goats, they would produce rich an pure and nutritious milk and people would want that milk and the circle would continue round and round.
?????? What do you think???????? more thoughts??????
this is something i Think about a LOT
