the world of my sisters.  Can you see them?  Blue Tailed Sisters…..Whiptails?

and to day.  ToDay.   i met a young woman at the feed store last week.  Tonight she came.  in tow,  her two sons,  one in fourth grade.  Engaging,  smart,  personable.  One,  Autistic,  engaging, personable and into the GOATS.   and her ….MAN.  who has taken her On.  Taken her and these two sons ON.  and they came.  they came to see the Goats.  They have acres.  acres of land.

i will  give Jude's Magic and Barbara to them.  Between the two of them,  they will be able to deal with the issue of scurs.

what to say?….i don't quite know.  i don't quite know.

Stuff's not perfect.  Perfect in a kind of world.  But in another world,  it's very perfect enough.

Maybe not perfect, but amazing and very good sometimes. And the blue tail skinks… Also here. That must mean they are adaptable? But the cats can’t resist stalking them.

I am happy for the little boy who loves the goats…they will help. and for the man who formed a family.
It took a while, but finally found a blue-tailed friend…always good to have your sisters around you, right?

i came back because this has been nagging at me all day–it’s like one of those pictures “find 10 different things”–and i can not find the sister in the 3rd pic.

i will get even better pics as times goes by. We are
always surprising EachOther at the beginning of every
season, then we get used to EachOther’s ways and it’s
not so FAST. There are long moments of just looking at
    EachOther

Karen, yes. it was SUCH a wonder FULL exchange. both
the boys loved the Goats in their own way. it was
    quite beautyfull to watch.
and the man. the man. he has taken on a lot. but his
face was soft and gently and his gaze uninterrupted.
i am looking forward so much to what comes of this unexpected connection………….
they are all female. they are self sufficient. no males.

seeing them in and around the soon to be or someday to be hugulculture brings a big smile….my hugulculture garden is nearly completed….next Wednesday the composted soil and the in go the sunflowers and squashes and calendulas..a photo or two will be up in June…those sticks serve us well to retain water for the dry months ahead…thankful to have learned about this way of creating a garden. So far no little lizards here…lots of birds, bees and butterflies. The last snow fell two weeks ago…now warm, the earth is sprouting and the lilacs and iris blooming…flax began to show the sea of beautiful periwinkle blue today…the long winter looks like it has now gone.
Much thanks to others for guiding my old eyes through the sticks to see the lizards…beautiful little ones they are.
