Ok then. we've done it. This isn't anything different. There is always a strip of 100+ somewhere in May or June and then we settle in to the 90's. Tomorrow. 90 something. So, OK.
This is Komatsuna. A MustardSpinach kind of thing. For anyone living in hot places where Spinach tends to bolt, this is just FINE. From morning on, it droops, and ends up looking all fainted. But during the night, pulls itself together and is Fine again in the morning. I love to use it for roll ups, has large strong leaves.
this is Tatuma, a summer squash, planted as an experiment in a large landscape pot…black….which there is question about…does the black pot absorbe too much heat?, but i see here that it's not. I give a lot of water every Eve and tho this pot is in direct Sun throughout the day till early eve, it has been fine. Has been fine in this week of over 100 degrees.
First green bean. Just after taking this pic, i ate it. Crunchy. Green. i ate photosynthesis.
Finished. Finished. And now, i just want to make More.
the Mexican Feather Grass is in it's Glory. The kids are On the Road. To arrive sometime tomorrow. To arrive when this Place is in it's Glory. GREENING, BEGINNING to fulfill it's grand purpose. They will arrive this time in this moment and i am so so glad….that they can see what i see. i notice how i like to repeat things. i guess i do. i like to repeat. and so…To see What I see. Alyssia grew up here part of Her time. She remembers a lot. This will be Good. She also knows the Goats. The Goats will remember her.
