when i go out in the mornings,  after feeding Goats,  i see these here and there in the raised beds.  Toad huts.   not permanent homes,  just momentary shelters.  here today, gone tomorrow.

Yesterday,  Solstice,  i moved  two  of the Toad Spas here,  by the Child Buddha and the brass goat who stand over the baby dead Goat's grave.   it will be easy to keep them filled with water when i Give Water to the buck goats.   This is next to the Raft.

waiting to see what the Considering Weave Diaries will be…Jude Hill….Spirit Cloth.   i have no idea, so,  i think about weave but am just kind of blank.   but this morning i had this image of a kind of pinwheel thing with a weaving,  weaving , weaving around….made the marks.  Just in case.

everything is stitched in place.   Am going to just BE with it for however long.  Let it say what it can.  i fiddled some with the Eye of the Beholder,  but not much.   i like it as is.  i think.

am looking for naturally occuring Weave out there.   at about 10 oclock in this pic is a seed wad of the Feather Grass.   Tightly woven,  these seeds,  but not in any kind of aesthetic way,  pretty way….

    She wove the world, didn’t she….Spider Woman……….
    and how things are in the circles of the drawing…. thinking….
    this morning, like night/morning maybe 3 something AM i was up
    and watched a spider work. a beetle, tiny, was in her weave and i watched her for a really really LOOOONG time…..

    and just now, listening to CRICKETS…there are two distinct sounds,
    WOVEN together. June/July Cricket sounds…not like AUGUST when
    there is the single Mantra, the single Drone…..
    now…this weaving of Sound

    travel day back and forth this week..miles and miles..i look at the early morning light here..the meadow grass so high that for a good part of an hour i cannot find a sleeping cow..a fairly large sleeping cow…of course she is there..and i come here in delight to see the same colors, the same light breaking through your feather grass. i love the light that you send…even though this week will be full of movement..i am also letting weave drift through my head..thinking it will be a treat for myself as the miles move beneath me..small spider spinning a web over states..of reality and of mind..back and forth..my pattern of this drive is so clearly fixed in my head…

    I know you don’t think much of your photography but I could feel the wind in that grass over here.
    Your weaving…did you ever make a cross with sticks or ice cream sticks and then weave yarn round and round…what was that called? God’s Eyes? I have a mobile of sorts with God’s Eyes made by my mom when I was little and by my daughter when she was.

    our LIGHT breaks pure and sure on the land. on sleeping
    hidden cows, on Goats , on Travelers, on small spiders spinning
    back and forth, back and forth in such Great integrity

    Julie…it’s Tuesday morning now and i have been looking
    back a few days, then looking at this post then looking
    at yesterday’s post and weaving on over back and forth
    to Jude’s Considering ……
    and where i’m going with this is that i Thank You for
    saying that about the “photography”…which i skipped
    over, but this morning read again and looked at the
    pics…enlarged them, and it is uhhhh, Clarifying something
    for me. Has made an Opening in some kind of moodyness i
    am experiencing that doesn’t have a name….but your
    words caused it to loosen or something. and i Thank You.
