this morning…going to get a drink, from the glass house bowl, there was a cricket floating. She studied this for a few seconds, this cricket floating, then very Care full y bared her teeth and lifted the cricket from the water….set it on the floor…and watched with interest as it dragged it's very water logged self under the stove. She then got a long and very sloppy drink.

What a sensitive and intelligent response…saving a cricket, or just removing it to drink. either way, I think Tay scored higher on the “I think I love this dog” chart.
And the cloth is coming along so beautifully, reminds me of “organized chaos”-haha, sort of like the dog!

Actually…that three trillion mile training lead umbilical
was attached and so i was alert because of the suggested Training,…but for whatever reason, i saw it and she was
so delicate with it all, just so INTERESTED without

some fat raindrops in the moment and Assholes (sorry) shooting fireworks. Both dogs under this chair, making themselves as small as they can. Goats…standing out there under a BeautyFull Night Sky, trying to Understand the
Sharp and Un Natural sounds. Fourth of July. A bummer
for animals.

I remember that ‘hammer’ every year with animals. Here the lightning storm I’m about to post over at my blog is keeping on, and slated to go right on through most of the fourth…but may clear for the fireworks. i posted a brilliant Frederick Douglas speech over on Face book today…about the meaning of ‘Independence Day’ to the slave, wherein he calls the celebration the lie it was. As Gandhi said when asked what he thought about Democracy–“It’s a good idea.”

amazing. just that. amazing. this bodes well for how she will be– with goats. with other parts of her job there and i’m so glad you were able to witness it–to see this aspect of Tay. when i read and saw this in my mind’s eye, my heart filled with love for her. and your last response, to the “wounded” comment–i’m understanding more now. and again thinking about humans and animals–thinking about those relationships–and smiling at the comment Michelle made. what name do you think tay has for you?
