so….This is the Corridor.   Probably it doesn't make any sence to anyone looking here,  but i want to document it.  August 3, 2014.   Margie's son Robert, Strongman, came and helped me move and unroll two  chunks of fencing.  They are in Place.  In the next days,  i will bring home three 18ft pieces of cattle panel and weave them in.   This is the corridor between the Way Back and the Middle.   a Big Deal.

so the Fake fence in the Front House Yard is gone.  Taken down and rolled up.  Done.  Nice.

    I like the size element here. To sometimes feel so small in the wonder of our huge world and the forces of Mother Nature. Yes. When grand weather happens, or seeing big views…this is the contrast I feel.

    My dear Grace, so much work to keep up with. It’s so with other friends land, house and animals too. Always something that needs doing. And, I’m glad the blue is back on the cloth, and moved by the person giving it perspective.

    ..i think i feel small a lot since we moved to vermont.. after years of working with very small people..of happily working on floors and rugs,, of making my eyes at their level..of tiny chairs and very small toilets..it is an alice in wonderland inversion to be outside in a place that restores a different order..i do not feel diminished…but i do feel somehow in my place in a different way…and seeing all the varying proportions here feels right and comfortable..a different place in this amazing world..
    such beautiful work..as always and like patricia…oh the pink fence post driver sends me out into the day with a smile..gentle day grace

    hey Greace can you do a plan sketch of your garden showing the two goat areas and the connecting corridor + your house and house garden where your front gate is etc so I can get a sense of what’s going on… I like reading maps!

    it’s what i love about New Mexico. i am always so small here and the feeling reassures me somehow. That it’s TRUE, that i am just so much one small thing of MANY on the planet. I actually LIKE the feeling. Small like lizards are small, like birds and beetles and dogs and Goats and and and….
