Music Thursday. By the time i got back home it had begun to drizzle and it continued. All Day. Only at almost 5 p did it brighten up and some Sun came through. The Big Surprise got postponed. We need a good day of Sun for everyone to be able to get used to it all.

Depending on the light, the brown to the left of the face, at times looks like a mouth. I love your faces.

looking and looking. trying to understand what moves me so much about this cloth. the simplicity? the understated powerful sense of place and self? the magic of the loose thread ends flowing out from the b/w lighthouse? the thread end-feather like aura around this sees-all face? i don’t know. all of this perhaps. but it is fine. absolutely soooooooooooooooooooo fine.

time and space and distance..the small undulations of the blue across the bottom…it is so very good grace..it makes you pause…i agree with patricia…it moves me ..so nice to ponder at the beginning of the day….

I can’t believe how the patterns on the bits of cloth behind the face work here; I can’t stop seeing them as moving clouds. As always Grace, this is beautiful.
