Insects.  I think that every insect that Can get born,  gets born in August.   Bug Month.   I have 6 very itchy bites.  2 are the "weeping" kind,  the others just very large lumps.   I have no clue who causes them.  But know they are from hauling the feed,  so that would make spiders suspect,  and then from going into the Middle Oasis and cutting the Kochia.   Who know who lives there.  But

ITCHY.      Off and on during the night i'll wake.  Itching.  Itching like crazy.  Ack.  August, i try to just think.  It's just August,  when things get born and are hungry.  Ok.

Another long hard time with the Old Cowboy.

dropped off a billion more VCR movies to the Thrift Shop.   This is through a very dirty windshield.   Found a few damask napkins and table runner for Deb Lacativa.  In case she ever again has time.  Being a new Nanna.

and i have NO IDEA WHY today was the day.  But the cushion on the computer chair is worn.  I'd begun to make a patch during Jude Hill's Contemporary Boro but then just quit.   I love how denim gets a wierd almost greygreen patina over time.  But it was wearing thin,  even the patch,  so today i added some and intend to continue.

Poor old cowboy. Mean as he has been, can’t help but feel for him. Of course, I feel for you too. I too am highly susceptible to bug bites and have a homeopathic I take that immediately mitigates my reactivity. But, can you get homeopathic stuff? If yes-I’ll look for it and email you the name. The chair cover is quite nice. And, since there’s no goats this post, here’s that LINK you liked-http://youtu.be/bv2OGph5Kec?list=UU5MzAFj1U6Djzw6nUnsrLjg

Grace, does plantain grow out there? if so, chew the leaves for about 5 minutes and then apply as polstice. Works great on mosquito bites which i get ALL the time.

We were all bit by mosquitos last night. Moon took it personally, wants control over them. Your chair is great, Is it awkward to do? I want to run my hand over & feel the textures & stitches.

thank you for putting the link here. it’s really so tender.
Old Cowboy isn’t really mean, just ignorantly insensitive.
and i would say that to his face, so don’t feel bad about
    saying it here.
i CAN get the homeopathic, but since this is ongoing
until whatever it is is finished with this particular
stage in it’s life, the bites will continue. Might be
a couple or a few weeks and i don’t know if i want to
take something internally. They’re not that bad. But
send the name anyway just in case. and Thank You

Not really. I use those long milliner needles i love so
much and a new SHARP one. It’s really ok for a piece or
two at a time. The chair upolstry itself is really
easy to sew through and the denim i’m using is well
    worn, so soft.
Yes. at least it’s not mosquitos. i don’t have those.
and whatever these are, they are temporary. it’s just
    the season.
    i really love your weaving.
