I’m looking too and the story unfolding is true and meaningful: grace I really like this idea that you are working with of putting stitched cloth on top of larger cloth making a kind of panel. The story so clearly unfolds of your life on your land with Tay and all of the creatures and elements that make up this place you call home. Tay holding steady but with one leg inching over the woven fence, saying that yes I am getting grounded here but there is so much to see and I want to explore it all. Windwoman next to Tay, You, with the sun, the crow, wind, it’s all here and your ability to use the minimum to tell a powerful story, wll, we see it all and more importantly, we feel it all. The backdrop of the blue cloth could not be more perfect for it totally brings to life our vast and beautiful changing New Mexico sky… This is a big story, this dog, this woman, her land, our sky…

it was so amazing to come to earth dreaming..to see the cloths in a new light..as if they were suddenly windows..doors..some kind of portal..i inviting us in..giving me a new way to look..or possibly a new way to see…and then suddenly the sky appears instead..and the boundaries are stretched even further…
it is so you and yours watching you experiment..and it is so personal..suddenly to be reminded of how large your sky is..this sky is still so much larger than sky in delaware…but still it is not the size of the western sky…my rim is closer..becoming familiar..surprising me daily with its beauty..it is a gift..to be able to share, to watch your story, your questing..your days unfold..gentle day grace

hmmm there is a framing convention where the lower edge of the mat is a little wider than the other three edges, you have used a wider border at the top so I am finding the proportions a little difficult to reconcile from here as a photo, you will go with what you feel is right and there is a lot of difference to the dimensional quality of the cloth in real life but here’s a link to the traditional way mats are used in framing artwork

folds IN during the dark hours to become close, everything to

i think because you pinned t here it has already happened this way. at least for that amount of time. i let the cloths touch in many ways over time.

for this. For me, now, there is a sense of not so much time. This is new. There always was Time. Now…something is different.
but i DID pin it and things HAVE happened because of the
