what is my Intention with this cloth making?  I am thinking about it.  It's been long enough , some years,  that this question is appropriate in its Rising.   

This second one,  i love this face.  I love the story that i feel when i look.   I took away the Breath.  That was,  i guess, confusing to anyone else that might have looked.   So…here we have just this much.  I don't want to just let this cloth sit in a drawer.  Really,  i don't want any cloths to just sit in a drawer.  So,  what does that mean then?

20 more days till Solstice.  Twenty more days.   I am  breathing the count.

    i’m looking intently–wondering what is in the package, imagining my own work area, still packed away in a variety of cardboard. imagining a time a few weeks hence when i will be able to sit and gaze at cloths in all their stages. realizing how much i miss that but gaining comfort from being able to hang out in your work area. so thank you for that. and the middle cloth–absolutely wonderful eyes. and lips. the lips beg a voice. and a touch.

    as Kiki Smith said in an interview a few years back the good thing about being an artist is the work has to go away! My brother Paul has given each house full of his mad papier maché furniture away to the local thrift shops whenever he moves & just makes more wild work to fit the next place!

    I am not sure about questioning why we feel a need to stitch pieces of cloth to other pieces of cloth it just is.

    most of the time this is true, yes, but sometimes like right now,
    it is i think because i need to consider things. There is not
    endless leisure for anything here. All is in Ernest and for
    Purpose. … OH!…that is a key to what i am wanting to
    understand now….OH!….thank YOU! for bringing that forward
    in my mind!!
