nothing to show. Work away. Grocery store. Home to still frozen hoses to the water tubs.  I could have showed you goat poop in Nogal and Tenzin's water tub.  WHY DO THEY DO THAT???????????????

they are Goats.  it just flies out.  

brushing off wood,  bringing In.  Just enough till tomorrow afternoon when i can do better.

Driving the freeway to the work away job in San Antonio and gazing off over the Scape of the Land how it is covered with snow still,  how that snow will slowly seep into the Earth and sustain things for SO LONG to come…this much.  Really,  is such GOODNESS.

    Grace, i’ve been thinking about a lot of the thoughts you have been raising. some of them are hard ones. the mother issues. both as child and as parent. and more. and although i haven’t commented, i’m thinking. they are good and important issues and even though they’re hard, it’s important to look. and discuss. and then, for me at least, be gentle with self.
    i come here not because it’s fun or witty–although sometimes it is–but i come here because again this is a real place to me. a mirror of sorts.

    it does. Snow pack is so critical in deserts with high elevation surrounding…in Spring the melt truly gives LIFE for the entire
    coming year. I am always so knowingly conflicted about it…my
    own small life becomes Hard and Challenged by it but i know it’s not about Me, that it is for the Good of the Whole, so i only can just go with that knowing and my own Effort

    no…not really. It’s not every year but some years there will be
    snow like this. All the ranchers and farmers are on their knees
    in gratitude

    patricia…i would not have said anything at all about these things unless that was what the particular day was ABOUT….
    that this IS a Journal
    of days
    as they come
    As Is.
    so it got posted. I think really that it’s not at all important
    to respond here, but if something gets seeded that Needs to be
    then it’s just ok. and all right.
    these are things that are There, for some of us. I don’t know
    how many of us, but some of us for sure. And to LOOK at them
    is good and to do with them what they ask of us is good. It’s
    just what Comes, by Nature, as we Go.

    it doesn’t feel at all amazing. it feels like one foot in front of the other, like tonight, the kitchen was a mess because i had wanted spagetti so i made it this morning and then went off to work and came home and wanted to SIT and EAT it but there were things to DO that needed to be done in the last warmth of the day, so i did them and have not eaten that spagetti and probably won’t but it’s made and maybe i can eat it tomorrow for breakfast….just how it is
