How Tay gathers the windfall in the afternoon,  running and running until finally settling somewhere and working on the unripe fruit with her bottom teeth,  layer by layer.

Oh, your laundry is dancing! Such gorgeous hollyhocks you have! Today we discovered our hollyhocks – just beginning to bloom and with so many buds – were being consumed with pests and had to be pulled. That was a sad moment. Tay always brings a smile. Her life is FULL, too, isn’t it? And I love the “innocence of bind weed.” That says so much.

I was sure the caterpillars would strip the oaks. They didn’t eat a leaf. weired.
There is a moon forming on Tay’s forehead.

Um…well okay the bindweed has no intent to strangle my blueberries but it does look for every opportunity to grow and conquer the world, at least around here. 🙂 You have a different variety than what grows here.
I love the strength in the face you have drawn.

My favorite picture is the billowing laundry under the portentous sky…everything seems to be in motion.
Your thread beads remind me of the plastic “snake”.

my bindweed is not nearly as lovely….and it is sly…but i so remember watching bindweed pull apart an old house when i was little…it took years..and was so beautiful …as it grew it was as if there was a living pink and purply white house growing at the edge of a deserted lot…and i would happily still see its innocence…what a joyful group of things to be sure of..

Lovely hollyhocks, happy dog. Life can be good, huh? In spite of uneasyness. I love the woven cloth with the red lace. It’s starting to talk.

the hollyhocks here always BEGIN so gloriously and then once bloomed become food for grasshoppers and whoever else and end up looking
terrible, but nonetheless, they set seed and the Beauty begins again the following spring

i don’t. Bindweed is bindweed. I think there is ONE MOTHER plant
somewhere and if we all keep pulling, we will maybe get the Mother?
    or not
no…same bindweed but in the early morning is so so Innocent and
delicate, a morning glory, even tho we will PULL it without
    mercy

re the thread beads: why are there normally 7 b&w and one blood bead?

7 are the number of “required” elements
    the blood bead activates them
