Moon rings finished…thread beads appearing on them.

Tay is back to normal.  Has 5 more days to go of her antibiotic and anti inflamatory.  It looks like it's going to be just so OK.

WENT BACK OUT.

because it was so hot with no storm,  i set the hose under the Three Leaf Sumac in the Front Oasis to provide water on into the early night for whatever beings need it.  Next to that is the Stick Pile and i thought to spray it lightly,  like maybe how Rain feels.  I have no idea how many beings live in there.

still Out.  Looking.  Watching.  Thinking about

Story

thinking…this is the Sky that i Need.  But then immediately,  knowing that this is simply the Sky that is There.  I create story by saying i Need this sky.   Creating story.

Continuing here also with thinking of story and landscape and how landscape anchored me in a rootless way because I knew, during those 11 years of being a vagabond that I would move on until we decided to settle.
and so today Terri Windling says this:
    http://windling.typepad.com/blog/
“Now, as a writer and artist myself, my aim is to fashion, as Anais Nin once put it, “a world in which one can live”… out of words and paint, out of myth and life, out of rain, wind, earth and flame. I want to tell stories born of my love for Devon, but also for the Arizona desert and the lands I wandered during the homeless years: Narnia, Gramarye, Dorimare, Eldwold, Prydain, Dalemark, the Earthsea Archipelago, Vandarei, Tredana, the Old Kingdom, Dorn Island, and so many others. Most of all I, too, want to create landscapes and storyscapes so real, so vivid, so true that they might whisper in a weary traveler’s ear:
Welcome home. You’ve come at last. We’ve been waiting and waiting, and now you’re here.”
And that is how it felt when I came here to New Mexico two years ago, the land had been waiting for me, sky outstretched, as if to enfold and because land had always been my first welcome in the vagabond years, my ears were eager to receive the stories that began to come and continue…

The moon rings give me an unexpected sense of holding, of gentle protection. I like this one very much Grace.
Strange to read of giving water… It is so very very wet here. And now as the tropical storm is projected to swirl up and over the middle of the US it looks like it will barrel right over us. I saw one prediction of an additional up to 8″ of rain.

your moon rings are encompassing, as are your story thoughts. that you can hold & shape your own story- that’s the message I try to give the children.

i think of them all the time…especially the lizards who i don’t see
as often because Tay bounds ahead of me and they scatter. But in
these next couple months, i will be able to sit and let the water
    flow and watch them come.

needs to happen and then there is story, and then we can Tell

yes, this truth of moments is personal i think, a single experience that moves through us. to share we must recreate it. to tell it is to alter it. we put ourselves in it to tell it. it is all very interesting. story.
