so i did it. All the pencils. I did it very very slowly, I looked closely. Inbetween, i went OutSide, walking around, just looking, off and on with Flash, trying to get a close look at the one horn that appears to have a loosening band, but maybe not, maybe it's just that that horn is withering….as intended. But i looked in a different way, it was a world of Color, and inside too, Color. I saw how everything i Know is Color. I saw things not as form or object, but Color, sometimes many Colors to make the thing…The old Apricot Tree, her leaves, today i saw as her colors…so so many that form leaves.
i found the little ripped out piece of the print out of Yvette's Earth Pouch…that small but oh so WonderFull design dyed into the center piece of cloth here, ….. i want to see if i can replicate that with these pencils. And then i got all caught up in the piece of cloth it is sitting on which was a
PINK
handkerchief but i'd put it in the walnut vat and oh LA!….this and really, there is no blue in it at all, this blue that appeared in this pic, but maybe it was just some kind of magic that it shows up because i love it very much and maybe i can make that color too….for real, on the handkerchief with the pencils??????
So…I like them enormously. I am not sure yet if i LOVE them, but for sure i LIKE them…i love the way they Bleed. How this will work on cloth is yet to be seen.
So i am not wanting to do Drawings. I am just wanting to see how Color appears. Wanting to know if i can put color on cloth with my hand, with a pencil. Wanting to know, well, things that i don't even know yet. But it's a big YES.
Out of curiosity, i went to the first page of this book…2005. And there, stuck in was a print out of a pic from Jude's original Whispering Color…the results of an effort to sadden with Walnut. Yes again. I saw that some pages had been torn out of the book. I don't remember. But noted this. Torn Out pages. ok.
Deb's cloths had been moved to the back of the rocking chair so Tazmeena wouldn't lay on them. No thought. But when i looked this morning i saw that this particular part of the very very long cloth was exactly what i had seen in my mind as the world the old woman Mesquite tree lived in. The one who caught the kitebirds or birdkites. It could not be more perfect. And look….Many of the small Orbs…so for sure now, i know it's not something with the lense of the camera. This lense is New and also protected with a lense cap. The Orbs are what they Are, whatever they Are.
