the weariness that might have been expected yesterday, came today. Worked away. Groceries. Nap. Bring in wood. Goat water. The across the way people forever claiming some family catastrophy or another and wanting to know if i have some work came. For a long time i've had to say no. Today i said ok, the outside Fence weeds and they needed gloves, shovels, rakes and got half way done and said they'd come back tomorrow and i'm just done for the day.
It's Tay's way to check things. I believe that she knows every tiny single thing about this Place. And she makes her rounds several times a day. This evening she has checked where Chinche's blanket was at the back of the wood stove several times. There's just floor there now. She goes Out then and checks everything Out there, in a big interwoven circle. She stands and studies Chinche's grave. She's understanding how things change and then don't change back.
