Yes to what Cecelia wrote, this passage in particular: “Even if not one soul but us sees the beauty in a fine row of cabbages, or a sparkling kitchen, if we are the only ones who stare into a sunset for so long we forget our feet and frozen hands – we see it and that is enough. We create and cherish our own Creative Lives within ourselves. You don’t have to sell art to be an artist. No-one needs to see.”
And this idea of creating and cherishing our own creative lives within ourselves so deeply resonates with me and it ties in as well to my notion of Home and what we bring to it that makes it our own.
Your rocks, the colors, the shapes, I could sit down next to them and run my fingers over and over, feeling the veins, crannies, shapes; creating living art…
The cloth is simply exquisite as is. Will you stitch this cloth or leave it as is, hand drawn? It is breathtaking to me how you make a few strokes of your pen/pencil simply give us so much

there is an arroyo down at Cabello lake that is probably one
of the most magical places i’ve ever seen, the most elegant
rocks, some of these came from there and too, so many
species of desert plants IN PROFUSION…it’s like Heaven.
i wouldn’t have any idea how to find it now…it was back
in the day that we just drove overland, not bothering
    with roads..in a toyota car….he would say….Just GO!grace!
    Don’t be afraid!!!!
    i was always the driver

I’m all caught up with reading again and pondering ‘how stuff will go . . . if you let it’ sometimes for the best if you keep you hands off it and sometimes, well, action had to be taken. And my rocks are all round gray river stones . . . so different.
